Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne announced yesterday the product plan for the Ferrari and Maserati lineups up to 2014. The future Ferrari models include the 458 Italia Spider and new 612 Scaglietti (code: F151)—which may also offer the hybrid technology first shown in the 599 Hybrid concept—for 2011, special-edition series Enzo and an all-new 599 Fiorano (code: F152) for 2012, and a 458 Scuderia and a makeover for the California in 2013 (code: California M).
The future for Maserati is less robust. It plans to offer only two new models in the next four years. One unnamed model will bring the brand downscale and is designed to compete directly against the Mercedes-Benz E63, BMW M5, and Audi S6. The other model will replace the Quattroporte as the marquee’s four-door sport sedan and cost a bit less than the car’s current base price of $119,000.
